This island fortress was a vital harbor defense of Manila during the war that serves as a memorial of courage, valor, and heroism. Have a glimpse of various gun batteries, old barracks, camping grounds, Pacific War Memorial, and the Malinta Tunnel where you can watch a Light and Sound show that tells a moving story.
From Manila, guests will board a ferry to the island with an approximate travel time of one hour. Upon arrival, travelers will board the “tramvia”, a pre-war type streetcar that will take you to a tour of the island.
